What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. It allows the site to remember your actions and preferences (dark/light theme) for a period of time.

Cookies we use

ODDnet does not use any tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. Your theme preference (oddnet-theme) is stored using your browser's local storage (localStorage): this is strictly functional, kept on your device, never shared with third parties, and requires no consent. Your display language is determined by the page address (English at the root, French under /fr) and is not stored.

Managing your preferences

Because we set no non-essential cookies, no consent banner is required. You can clear local storage at any time via your browser settings; your theme preference will then reset to default.

Retention period

Theme preference (localStorage): kept until you manually clear it via your browser. No analytics or tracking-session cookies are used.
