The challenge

A smart city project required a scalable, open-standards datacenter fabric to support city-wide CCTV/IoT aggregation, AI analytics, and municipal cloud services — with no vendor lock-in.

What we did

Deployed a full leaf-spine Ethernet fabric using Edgecore switches running SONiC, with EVPN/VXLAN overlay, BGP underlay, and OpenDaylight SDN control across 10/40/100GbE.
